What a spectacular day on the courts! On 24 March 2026, our MEMRLTA Committee hosted the inaugural MEMRLTA Charity Tennis Day, and the results were nothing short of an ace.
The event, sponsored by Bendigo Bank (main sponsor), was held at the stunning MCC Glen Iris Valley Tennis Club, and brought together a community of passionate players for a day of tennis, sisterhood, and support for a vital cause.
It was a full house (and a full court!) with 80 women participating in the tournament. The atmosphere was electric, matching the beautiful surroundings of the club.
The generosity of the MEMRLTA community extended far beyond the baseline. Thanks to an impressive array of raffle prizes provided by generous donors and the enthusiasm of those in attendance, the event raised a phenomenal $5,000 for Treasure Chest Charity. These funds will provide crucial support and resources for those navigating their journey with breast cancer.
